Veronica Guzman’s love of nature all began with a small purple bird – the purple martin. She had no idea how much amusement and joy her new hobby would bring her. Veronica is a STBCTMN member and Environmental Educator at the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands and World Birding Center. She is involved with Project Martin Watch.
The presentation will cover purple martin biology and identification, attracting purple martins to your yard, housing standards, and the summer phenomena known as a purple martin pre-migratory roost.
