We are expanding our native plant beds in our B.L. Gray Tiny Forest project with the Pollinators for Texas initiative with support from Urban Ecologist John Brush and Wild Birds Unlimited of McAllen. We have added approximately 200 more pollinator supporting native plants since October. Our project aims to convert unused campus lawn into habitat for native pollinators, making a lasting impact on pollinator conservation. A big thank you to H-E-B for their generous support in this initiative and collaboration with the Texas Master Naturalist Program. Together, we’re working to safeguard and enhance native pollinator populations across Texas!
